CBD is a controversial subject right now, but there is no doubt there’s a ton of science based health benefits. When strolling the aisles at Lassens you’ll notice an entire shelf of CBD oil. For someone who isn’t sure which CBD oil is right for them, find a CBD oil made with a liposomal delivery system. Liposomal delivery systems have a faster absorption rate – meaning it will stick instead of pass through.
For this Moon Milk recipe we are using Quicksilver Scientific’s Nanoemuslified Colorado Hemp Oil. This formula doesn’t contain any THC, so we’ll feel relaxed, but we won’t feel high.
Now the last thing we want to do before bed is make a big mess in the kitchen; the less dishes to wash the better. You can easily google a collection of Moon Milk recipes, most of which involve simmering, straining, draining and blending. Keep it easy! The Bev Babes are simplifying the recipe and making an easy DIY Moon Milk.
All you need is:
1. 2 cups of Blueberry Lavender Almond Milk (found seasonally at Trader Joes)
2. 1 tablespoon of Organic Honey
3. 2 drops of CBD Oil (we used Colorado Hemp Oil)
4. 1 teaspoon of Lavender for garnish (optional)
Start by simmering the Blueberry Lavender Almond milk on medium heat, and whisk in the honey. Next pour into a mug or glass and add CBD oil. Stir and enjoy!
