Fall is approaching! And honestly, what can be better than that? Before you are cladded in the warm clothes within indoors and get ready for the holiday season, enjoy the brisk breath of wind in the magical season of autumn with these top three fall drinks and their recipes.
Bev Babe’s Fall Drinks:
Toasty Apple Cider
Apart from keeping the body warm during the onset of winter, apple cider has a lot of other health benefits; it helps to lower blood sugar level, control cholesterol and reduces fat. Using this as the base ingredient for a cocktail will bear amazing results. Here is the recipe for it:
Ingredients– Apple cider, Ginger, Unsalted butter, badiane and Vanilla Extract for the cocktail and you might choose some whipped cream and chocolate or cinnamon sticks for garnishing.
Directions– Pour the apple cider into the pot and add the pieces of ginger and badiane. Save the butter and vanilla extract for later. Let the liquid boil for some time and then start reducing the flame. Remember that your aim would be to reduce the total amount of liquid to approximately 1 cup. Once, the texture has thickened a bit, turn off the flame and cover the pot with a lid and let cider rest for 2-3 minutes. Next, filter out the liquid into a cup leaving back all the solid ingredients. Add half a spoon of vanilla extract and then top off the cocktail with some whipped cream and the cinnamon/chocolate sticks. There’s your drink ready.

Ingredients– A cup of heavy cream, Dutch-processed cocoa, 4-5 cups of strongly brewed coffee, sugar, vanilla extract, caramel and chocolate syrup, hazelnut of choco chips.
Directions– Beat the heavy cream in a bowl first and then add the sugar to taste, followed by the vanilla extract. Keep whipping until the texture becomes thick and stiff. In another saucepan stir half portions each of the cocoa powder and cream over medium flame, until they are thoroughly mixed. After some time, introduce the coffee, caramel syrup and some more vanilla extract and cook it in a slow cooker until all the ingredients are thoroughly blended. Pour it out in a glass and garnish with some whipped cream, hazelnut or choco chips and drip some chocolate sauce to give it an edge.
Glazed Coconut Matcha
Based on two amazingly healthy ingredients- coconut milk that hydrates and replenishes the body minerals and matcha that is high in anti-oxidents; this drink is guaranteed to up your beverage game this fall season and become the new favorite. Here’s how you can make it:
Ingredients: 1 cup of coconut milk along with any other milk, granulated sugar and matcha powder.
Directions: Firstly, combine equal portions of sugar and matcha powder in a bowl. On a separate saucepan mix the coconut milk and the other milk well and let it be on low flame for some time to reduce and thicken it. Once done, remove it from heat and mix it thoroughly with the brew of sugar and matcha powder and it is ready to serve. Garnish it with some grated coconut on top if you wish.
