5 Juice and Smoothie Recipes

There isn't a better way of starting your day other than a big glass of juice or smoothie that is packed with the right amount of nutrients and furnishes you with a jolt of energy right after you take the first sip.

Most people prefer resorting to innumerable cups of coffee throughout the day to keep them going, but we say, once you try these smoothies, there will be no going back to the substance that dehydrated you and ripped off your wellness. Also, not to forget, that the enzymes and live nutrients in the smoothies and juices are indispensable when it comes to revitalizing every single cell in your body and keeping you nourished and galvanized throughout the day. Try these refreshing juices and smoothies!

Minted Fruit Juice

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 apple that is peeled and sliced
  • 2 slices of watermelon seeded and cubed
  • 4 slices of pineapple
  • 1 orange peeled and divided
  • 2 teaspoons of lemon juice and one or two sprigs of fresh mint

Method:

Start by juicing the orange and apple together and ensure that there is no pulp. Next, add the pineapple and churn all of them well. Shift the juice to a blender and keep adding the watermelon, lemon juice and mint turn by turn. Mix until smooth.

Very berry smoothie

Ingredients you need:

  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of raspberries
  • 1 cup of blackberries
  • 4-5 cherries
  • 3-4 slices of pineapple
  • 2 apples peeled and sliced

Method:

Juice the strawberries, raspberries and blackberries first and once the puree appears smooth, add the cherries, pineapple and apple slices only to give it another churn and your smoothie is ready!

Slice of Heaven Smoothie

Ingredients you need:

  • One-fourth cup of water
  • 2-3 cubes of watermelon
  • 2 whole peaches
  • 2 tangerines peeled and sliced
  • 1 and a half bananas peeled
  • ½ cup of strawberries
  • ½ cup of raspberries
  • ice 

Method-

Juice the watermelon and tangerines along with some water and if you want, you can add a slight hint of salt, just to create an interesting balance with the rest of the ingredients. Following this, transfer the juice into a blender, add the ice cubes and the rest of the ingredients and give it a good mix until completely smooth.

Lemon Turmeric Drink

Ingredients you need:

  • ½ teaspoon of Ground turmeric
  • 1 squeezed lemon
  • 1/4th teaspoon of grounded ginger
  • 1/6th teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 spoon of honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cups of water

Method-

Mix the lemon juice, turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon profusely with water and then add the honey or maple syrup depending upon the amount of sweetness you want. Fuse them all well for around a minute and your drink is ready.

The Goodness Juice

Ingredients you need:

  • 2 carrots trimmed
  • 2 large beets peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange peeled and seeded
  • 1 apple peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup of spinach leaves
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 sprig of fresh mint (optional).

Method:

Mix all the ingredients and if the smoothie appears too thick, some more water to it. You can add the fresh mint if the other flavors feel too strong and it is good to go!
